The probe that allows the balloon to be implanted in the gastric cavity of the patient has a double lumen.<\/p>\n

One of the lumens acts as a feeding channel for the balloon once the stylet has been removed, which must be in place during the insertion maneuver, and the other allows the guide wire, previously inserted endoscopically, to slide inside and guide the Stella\u00ae device into the patient,\u00a0with smoothness and speed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The duration of treatment is approximately\u00a06 months, after which the balloon must be removed,<\/strong>\u00a0with an expected weight loss in average about 14,5 Kg<\/strong>*.<\/p>\n
